Pat Ormiston

Pat was born to Paul and Mary Stoker and raised on the farm at Guernsey SK. Pat married Lloyd Ormiston and lived for many years on the Ormiston homestead at Fort Qu'Appelle, where they raised 3 daughters: Gwenda (Don) Wilkes; Susan (Wayne) Hrysak and Carol. They were delighted by their grandchildren: Robin (Vince) Bird, Lisa (Russell) Lesperance, Evan (Sandra) Hrysak, Margie Wilkes and Rob (Sarah) Wilkes. Pat lived to welcome 5 great-grandchildren: Jayden Feser, Zane Lesperance, Jojo Wilkes, and Ana and Ali Hrysak. Pat and Lloyd moved to Ile-a-la-Cross, Cumberland House, and Big River. After Lloyd's passing, Pat moved to Saskatoon to live with Carol. She loved her family, teaching special needs children, gardening, Vietnamese food, iced coffee, and chocolate! Her gardens were always magical, serene spaces with plenty of red flowers. No matter where Pat lived, she made life-long friendships. Her home was always a haven of warmth, music, laughter and good food. The family would like to thank her amazing friends and neighbors, Denise, Marvin and Ginette and the wonderful staff at DCF. There will be a private burial at a later date in Fort Qu'Appelle.
