Jerry Dolby
July 23, 1959 - March 21, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald “Jerry” Dolby, in his 65th year, after a brave battle with cancer, surrounded by family. He was the dear father of Tara (Ken) and Jerry (Katie), and the proud grandfather to Skye. Predeceased by his loving parents Robert and Catherine, as well as his soulmate Lisa. Brother to Donna (Bob), John (Sharon), Kathy (Lou), Mike (Laurie), Larry, Scott (Kim) and Robin (Will); Robin was not only his baby sister, but his best friend and loving caretaker and champion during his final months. Remembered fondly by his many nieces and nephews, ex-wife Karin, and friends. Jerry will be remembered for his quick wit, mischievousness, and athleticism. As per Jerry’s request there will not be a funeral; instead, there will be a private celebration of life with his family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Jerry’s name to Scarborough General Hospital.
